The recommended minimum system specifications for all National Model software are as follows:

Desktop PC / Workstation

Operating System: Windows XP SP3, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista SP2, Windows 2008 Server, Windows 7 (Note: Both 32 and 64 bit Operating Systems are supported.)

Processor: Dual Core, 2.0GHz or higher

Memory: 1 GB RAM or more

Hard Disk Drive Size: 20 GB or more with 2 GB free

Monitor/Video: 17" that supports 1024 x 768 resolution / 64MB Video Card

Modem: (if using dial-up transmission) 56.6 K

Backup Device: Tape backup, CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW), or External Hard Drive

Mobile Data / Laptop Computers

MACH Servers

Based on the number of MACH clients being hosted, the hardware requirements for MACH servers can vary significantly. From a simple one server solution for small agencies to a multi tiered clustered server configuration with multiple failover and backup contingencies for statewide agencies, the MACH architecture is scalable to meet most needs.
